The Anime Quotes

Hey, began this blog May 20, 2011.

I started out as theotakuonline, a blog that shared pictures, videos and recommended manga and anime. Originally, I planned to stay this way, just another anime blog. I would never have made this blog if it wasn't for sconeburgers, a friend of mine. She gave me the confidence to start theotakuonline.

I realized month after month, people weren't in love with just recommendations and I was gaining no followers at all. At my prime I had roughly 300 followers and that was after almost a year. During the final days of my summer before high school, I had another idea.

"Why not a quote blog?"

And that's where it all started.

I was shocked that when I had NO followers at all, my very first post got more than 100+ notes in a day.

And with that, I knew that this blog was for me.

99.9999% of the posts here are mine. I made almost all the gifs here and I created the typoghraphies (but sometimes I take quotes from anime). I also reblog sometimes.
